Laila Tara H is an artist born in 1995 in London, of Iranian descent, who lives and works between Tehran and London. She deconstructs the Indo-Persian miniature tradition by blending traditional painting methods with contemporary concepts. Her work explores political and personal themes, particularly the tension between the domestic and public spheres. Tara H uses natural and found materials while incorporating sculptural and three-dimensional elements into her pieces. She has participated in several international exhibitions and art residencies.
