About

Founded by Margot de Rochebouët and Giovanna Traversa, Hatch began as an off-site curatorial platform in 2022, evolving through various formats in European cities before establishing itself as a gallery in January 2025.

The gallery showcases a dynamic, multigenerational roster of international artists, emphasizing Latin American and Middle Eastern voices. It prioritizes underrepresented practices that engage with critical contemporary themes, particularly the intersections of place and identity. To explore these phenomena, the gallery presents a program that embraces cultural collectivity, articulates differences, and seeks to transcend intangible boundaries.

In September 2025, Hatch Gallery will inaugurate its permanent space in Paris, continuing its commitment to fostering the next generation of curators, collectives, gallerists, and artists through a platform for research, experimentation, and development.
